    Heh... I mentioned this recently on gamefaqs. How do you rip videos from nicovideo?

    Take a look at the browser's activity window and pick out the item that looks like this:
    http://smile-clb22.nicovideo.jp/smile?v=71388.##etc.

    Copy and paste that into the download manager.

    I think YouTube is similar, although I usually use keepvid.com for that.

    Hmm.. I found the item but when I put it in a download manager I get a 403 error.

    Is there a specific manager you used?

    Error might just be general niconico flakiness. Happens to me, too.
